Legal notice
This is a translation for convenience. Truffle is sold from Germany, and the German version is the binding one. Where the two differ, the German text applies.

What is deliberately absent
Truffle is developed and sold by one person, not by a company. Several entries that appear in most German legal notices are therefore not required here:
- Legal form and authorised representative — required only for legal persons.
- Commercial register and registration number — the duty attaches to an actual registration, and there is none. A trade licence is not a register in the sense of the provision.
- Supervisory authority — required only for activities that need official authorisation. Writing and selling software does not.
- Professional body and title — required only for regulated professions. Software development is not one.
- Tax number — not required, and it does not belong here. Only the VAT identification number is published.
Sale and contracting party
Purchases of Truffle are handled by Lemon Squeezy, LLC (United States). That provider acts as the seller and is your contracting party for the purchase; it issues the invoice, states the VAT and gives the withdrawal instructions. Its terms apply to the purchase. See Right of withdrawal.
The person named above remains responsible for this website, for the privacy notice and for the product itself.
Dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. The duty to state this under § 36 VSBG applies only to businesses with more than ten employees; this notice is voluntary. The European Commission’s platform for online dispute resolution was discontinued on 20 July 2025; a reference to it is therefore omitted.
Report a vulnerability

Liability for links
This site links to external websites over whose content we have no influence. The respective provider is always responsible for that content. No unlawful content was apparent when the links were set. If we become aware of an infringement, the link will be removed.
